Write or Die
May. 25th, 2010 01:17 pmNow most of my close friends know that I have problems writing large quantities in small time intervals. If I'm challenged too much then I just shut down and become apathetic about it. I myself, hate me for this because it slows progress and production.
A couple of times I've been offered to join NaNoWriMo with the same friends who do it actively, but I simply can't because of my poor attitude. However, one day I happen to stumbleupon (yes, stumbleupon xD) "Write or Die" a program for 10 dollars. (I'm not sure if it's monthly or yearly. If you know could you please tell me?) Where you set your own word amount with your own desired time goal.
The more I contemplate doing it, the more I think it's a good idea. There is also a kamikaze mode as well. Haha. You can't get away from those things. I just wanted some outside opinions about this that weren't my own. Because if I set all of the settings myself, and I fail to comply I'll only have me to blame. Which is the way it should be. I would love to hear feedback from anyone familiar with his program. I'm seriously looking into getting it just so I have to write something.
